Paint ghosting/paint clouding 24 GT convertible

Anyone experiencing this issue. Clouding is in paint not on it. Preparing to submit formal warranty claim using Ford warranty procedures. See pictures. Passenger side mirror and engine hood vent. Car has 6000 miles 14 months since purchase.

I'm including @DFB5.0 in this thread; he might have seen this effect and could offer insight.

How is the car currently being cleaned? In what fashion? What products? How often?

It's effecting plastic parts, those being painted or not, only? Are you seeing this on body panels?

From my perspective, it seems like a wax or coating is air-drying on those surfaces, like coming out of an automated car wash and driving off in the mid-day Sun.

I don't think the hood vents and grill are painted

The ghosting is on passenger side view mirror (plastic) and engine hood vent, hood, and front side panel(metal).
I wash by hand with car shampoo with soft sponge. and microfiber cloth to dry every two weeks.

That looks bad. I had some minor paint issues and the dealership told me the paint is warranted no worries. They fixed my issues. You should take it the dealer.

Do you park outdoors a lot, or near sprinklers?

To me, those are mineral etchings caused by water rapidly drying on the surface, in effect, burning the minerals into the paint or surface. Ford will not warranty this, it will be considered an environmental factor not a manufacturing defect.

To remove mineral deposits is a two-step process. First you need to neutralize the minerals with a water-spot remover. Sometimes you will get lucky and the product will remove the visible signs, but If the spots remain, then you need to progress to step two, polishing.
