OTA Updates on Import from US to EU?

I'm no expert and don't want to be a smartass. I'm just a beginner who have read your tutorial about forscan so I can understand a little bit how it works to prepare myself for this scary thing called programming.

So I wad searching for my own country code when I was reading this topic.

You recommended him 41 55 for his country number. I think it should be 41 54 no?

41 55 is Australia and 41 54 seems to be Austria. Again, I'm just playing myself with this Forscan tutorials and just wanted to involve myself into this topic to get smarter.

I got that from a VIN that was provided to me. I didn't verify anything, tbh. Just changing the country code doesn't always work. More times than not, more is required to get it to work, but I don't know what that process entails. APIMs have to be programmed to ROW for sync nav to work.....that I know; but not sure what needs to be done to the TCU.

@GrabThatBlue TCU will not work in EU. You need get EU one or send me the one for conversion.

is it possible to get the ota updates if I have ford pass working? because I didn't get any updates at all and I have the ford services working on my car

I am not sure, tbh. @A4techpl Has helped a few people out in your situation to get things working properly. If what we tried didn't work, that may be your best. I know it is possible to do, but I don't know how to do it.

Yes, I sent my TCU to @A4techpl. Got it back super fast and got all the updates including ford pass working.

Does your remote rev still work after the TCU conversion?

Habe mit meinem USA Import Das Problem, dass ich in Ford Pass mich anmelden kann, jedoch fehlt zum Schluss die Bestätigung am Bildschirm. Die Verbindung müsste OK sein (Symbol im Bildschirm und Modem SN wird auch angezeigt). Die TCU hat die Endung ROW müßte auch eine Europäische sein

Hi! I am new here but I read this post and I was shocked as everybody told me it was necessary to replace the TCU for an European one… I have my Mach e in Miami and I will move to Spain next summer, it’s still far but I would appreciate your help with this as I have already made the necessary adaptations and I am super worried about the updates, they are essential… how could I reach you out when I need to do this?
