My Order is still in production since 7-7-25

Obviously it doesn't take 3 weeks to produce a Mustang GT .....they need a more accurate order status,

Anybody Else waiting?

Generally, production only takes a few days... but time increases with the night pony package, and if there are any shortage of parts, it may get built missing 1 part and waiting for it to come in. Cars are also randomly set aside for further qc/testing. Then there is also the possibility that the tracker is just not updating, and it may end up at the dealer as a "surprise".

Two additional factors to consider:

- The line schedule. The vehicle might have been partially built, only for Flat Rock to go on extended or Summer break

- Sometimes, problems are seen. The paint might have gotten nicked while on the line. Maybe an assembly didn't look right or install properly. Better to have them correct at the factory than at the dealer

As mentioned before, Ford's systems are not 100% accurate. In my experience, they only updated during weekdays and were often several days behind the actual dates input.

Sometimes, Members have gotten more details by calling the Ford Performance contact number, or chatting with them. No guarantee. Some discussions result in no further clarification. Others, much more insight than previously known.

[/QUOTE]

Ford does not do for themselves as they USED to do TO suppliers. It took a month longer than "forever" for me to get my Mustang after I ordered it. Get busy on things and that forces them to arrive.....Murphy ya know.

I used to be over a Tier 1 supplier to Ford, among other things we did, and it was a fate worse than death to be late if your part(s) goes directly to their assembly line, which ours did. "Don't be three days early and don't be one day late" was part of their negative way(s) with suppliers which is just partly good business.

Their internal and external cultures were atrociously bad....until I told them I was not willing to help them when THEY were about to miss a new model year introduction date because they f-ked up, "too late for uh-oh's". I finally agreed to free up some engineering resources to fix parts others supplied but for a more than hefty price and oh did attitudes change. But, that's another book.

Ford has changed and not for the better in some things, but, again, another book. I swore at one time to never own a Ford....except the one in my garage.

Ordered my 24 GT convertible on May 15, 2023. Went into production August 7. Delivered to dealership August 31st.
Of course things were different in 2023. Also, our car was a special order. We built it online.

Actually the priority code on the order is no longer pertinent since it was scheduled and is in production. If it were me I’d contact the Ford Performance folks ([email protected]). They will need your order number and dealer number, or your VIN since you have it. They can check for more detailed information. That info should also be available to his dealer. If no more detail, then concern is valid.

I’m thinking your car production stopped due to the plant being closed for employee vacations — they shut the plant down for that.
