I have a soft spot for metallic red Mustang convertibles, as the first Mustang I drove was a rental 20 years ago on a California road trip

Like the title says, they had a S650 convertible GT at the San Diego Auto Show, so I took a few photos. This is one of the few times that the pictures I saw online were exactly like the car in person, so nothing really surprised me.

You couldn't get on its platform or in it or anything, so these are just external, and one internal from a distance.

I few shots I took at the DC auto show yesterday. This car had silver brake calipers. I had thought they might not be offering the option anymore but it looks like they will

Not sure why Ford has a problem making a great looking Mustang Convertible (when the top is up). Seems the lines are never quite right when compared to the couple.

Looks like that just has more to do with camera lens distortion than anything else.
