Youā€™re pretty spot on with the reds. Race red is pretty flat, but, that can be a good thing. Itā€™ll look pretty much the same in all lights. Some metallic paints look pretty bleh if theyā€™re not in direct sun or overhead lighting.
I just had a flat white car. Ceramic coating helps it at least have a constant gloss/shine with a whole lot less work than keeping up manually applying products.

I'm torn between race red and rapid red.
It would help narrow my short list down from 4 to 3.

I don't like how rapid red is darker and has a slight purple tinge to it.
I don't like the flatness (is that a word?) of race red.

Mustang only needs one red colour - Mazda's soul red crystal metallic.

Dumb question:
How do you make race red really "pop" like a metallic colour?
(And without waxing it every time it comes out of the garage)

Honestly don't expect better panel fitment then on Gen 6.
If the hood doesnā€™t flop like a wet noodle above 70mph Iā€™ll take that as a panel QC victory

That passenger side is pretty bad. If pressuredd, theyā€™re very capable of taking half that out. If not pressured, well, itā€™ll exist even on a press car šŸ˜‚Panel gap didnā€™t really get better or worse over the S550 run. Probably wonā€™t change for the S650 either.

Ladies and gents, it might be high time for me to finally get a bright red car. Never thought I'd be the asshole in the bright red car - just the asshole in the loud sportscar. We're doubling down folks.
The only question is, will you go for the trifecta and start redlining your engine in your driveway every night at 3 am?

Leave civic owners out of this. The final piece to the mustang trifecta is, of course, curbing your car leaving the local C&C

Also, forgot to mention - this EB in RR looks infinitely better than the GT we saw earlier this week in RR. The EB front bumper is genuinely the best looking version I've seen to date on the S650 in my opinion. I hope they employ a similarly clean design for the forthcoming hi-po models.
