I was under the impression that all mustangs come with the galloping horse indicator sound. But in my 2026 dh (European version) I only get the regular rhythmic click click.
Do dh have the galloping horse? and if so is there a forscan option to activate it?
I know it's a very small thing but it is kinda disappointing.

If your turn signal makes a galoping sound, then one of your lights are broken.

The only galoping sound on the Mustang is the sound when you turn on the car, which some people have and some don't have.

It is still a mystery why this galop sound is changed to the old Ford sound for many people including me.

But again. If your turn signal makes an inconsisten sound, then it'a a broken light.

European Mustangs get the normal on/off tick. Your car doesn't have the 3 stage sequential indicators like the American and Asian (IIRC) counterparts have.

Im like 99% sure that I have the sequential indicators. I double check the next time I'm in the garage.

If your rear taillights have a dedicated amber/orange indicator, you don't have the sequential indicators, you have the sweeping ones.

so mine does the 3 light pattern once per tick, same as the US mustang. but it has dedicated amber lights because regulations. to me that seems the only difference and I still dont understand why it cant do the galloping sound

My 2024 blinker makes the galloping sound.... no broken lights.

I didn't know what he meant with galoping sound on the blinker.

To me it's just the sound of the lights.
The only galiping sound I know is the galop sound when turning the car on. The other one is just a sequential sound of the 3 lights, but I guess people like to call that one also galoping sound.

Look at this thread.
A guy with broken lights who thought thats a galop sound

Yeah, there is a distinct difference from start up galloping and the blinking galloping. I noticed a difference in the sound because I'm used to the clicking sound on my other cars and there is a difference when I'm in my stang.

Because the sound you hear is the same as the lights that go on. You have 3 blinkers on each side, so you hear a sound every time a light comes on.

see the video above. it is a little easter egg in mustangs that it isnt tock...tock...tock but tick.tock...tick.tock... to sound like a galloping horse. that's intentional. it is just missing in mine (maybe all eu versions)

the ai gods told me that this can most likely not be changed using ForScan, but is directly built into the IPC. (different controllers). I might write an email to ford directly and ask. I wonder if that will have any success.

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong video?
The video you posted is just on and off.
I don't see or hear any difference.

well it is kinda subtle. in the video you hear "tick..tock - tick..tock". that's the galloping if you will.
in comparison in my dh I only have "tock - tock -" without the tick. I hope this makes sense

Now i get it.

You only have the sound when the light turns on and on american cars there is also a sound when the light turns off.
