Four Gs seems extreme for a little lipstick but people seem to dig this kind of thing. There are other unnamed recent Mustangs that I personally see as pretty much a tart-up and folks love ‘em so obviously it’s just one cynical OF’s opinion.

Now if this LE included some mechanical or performance enhancements that’d be a whole ‘nother story to me.

Since the convertible gets the frame bracing and sway bars from the PP already, and can't option the DH spoiler, I think it's well-suited to the 60th anniversary.

None of this really adds up. We already know all of the details, pricing, availability, etc, and people have seen it up close, so a reveal makes zero sense. Not to mention, I can't stress this enough, this is very clearly not an s650. That's a sedan all day. So either this is a sedan teaser, or they're messing with us, or they just snagged some random image because they care that little.

Well it does mention celebrating 60 years of a Ford Mustang coupe - almost like they went out of their way to tell us the Mustang is a coupe, lol. Hmm maybe it is a sedan

I say they're messing with us. I can't imagine Ford being bold enough to make a limited quantity of a sedan of all things.

I don’t know if it’s a sedan. I think the shadow from windshield wiper is throwing the hood line-to-windshield ration off. Plus it’s not a direct side view. It’s angled over the top slightly so it throws off the lines from other covered mustangs we’ve seen.
The lines are somewhat reminiscent of the s650 prior to launch when it was under camo.
but… if it is a sedan… sheesh.

I am not sure about the ev, I haven't heard of that. The Ford gt, however, was seen in prototype form many times.

So they either screwed up the wording, or they're revealing something they've already revealed . Kinda a head scratcher any way you slice it. Given the audience for the pebble beach car show, high performance car enthusiasts, teasing other high performance variants at the show would make more sense than "Look at our stickers". As much as I love the GTD, this is kinda the flaw it revealing it as early on as they did. Everything else is gonna feel kinda lackluster by comparison.
