New Goodyear tires!

My wife's Skoda came with Goodyear Eagle F1 3rd gen rubber. They're OK, wet and dry grip is fine, they're fairly quiet and seem to be wearing well.
Tyre Reviews rate them well.
I'll replace them with something else though, Goodyears are expensive here

What tires actually manufactured in NZ? Which are the most popular and most reasonable priced?

I agree. These weren’t out when I was looking for an all seasons. Good to know. I think I’m getting some as soon as the salt gets cleared from the roads.

How does anyone get 20K miles on a Mustang GT?

My wife's Mustang will hit that sometime in 2027. It's her daily driver and the car we go out in all the time. It already has close to 1700 miles since we got it in late November, and it sat for a week after Christmas when we went on a cruise. She probably averaged 12k/year in the minivan, not including any road trips.

Nothing. All imported, we used to have homegrown retreads. It's hard to believe we drove on them. What we do have is imported used tyres, if you can believe that.
Price is the big driver for most people, they'll put any old crap on their wheels.
I value my life more.

These are on my car currently (below). They are just fine. They do great in the southeastern thunderstorms and are sticky enough in the dry. But I think they are different than those tires.

A good decent tire but the lowest rated on Tire Rack. Not a knock on Goodyear but there are much better choices for the money.

Yes, they are. But this test is almost eleven years old. Today’s tires are significantly better. It appears that Goodyear hasn’t really kept up with their competition.
