New member here folks. Hello.
Taking delivery tomorrow. 2024 Vapor Blue GT, manual, 301A, and that’s it.
Question is: Please let me know what specifically I need to watch out for.
This is besides all the general quality, fit and finish, excessive panel gaps, paint issues, interior-exterior loose trims, and everything that applies to a general delivery after PDI. I am capable of that. I need to know what specifically to this car I need to look for.

Most definitely ensure the PDI was done... I drove home with the front suspension blocks still on the car, as have many others.

if you find this- look in the front, rear of the wheel well, if you see blocks in the springs, tell them to redo the PDI. ALL of it, and take video. Check tire PSI, get a good test drive while they draw up stuff for you to sign. Make sure she’s as clean as a whistle and take pics from all angles. Make sure no paint or body damage. Make sure your interior controls work, including the center stack.

Tape over the lower holes in the front inner fender liner in back of the tires. Then do some research on a more permanent fix.

@bimmerborn ..... check the torque of your lug nuts, level of your engine oil and visible fluids. Tire pressures. Order kit from DIYvan.com and cover the fender holes (front wells) with tape until then. Google Tony Unica video on Mustang wheel well holes. Paint drips at trunk edges. Hope all is well. You'll love the car!

Check the gaps between the hood and headlight areas. Make sure the gap is consistent all the way around.

Update: I pickup the car tomorrow. Bank issues.

Folks, I appreciate all your replies so far. Thank you all.
- I asked my sales person to torque the lug nuts already. I detected the rear passenger wheel was loose. And I thought its a new car and I am imagining it.
- Trunk lid sits lower than other panels. That is the only body panel issue. I asked to adjust before delivery. All the other panels fit and panel gaps are fine.
- I will check all the fluids myself before driving the car away. Including tire pressures with my own gauge.
- Noted the holes inside inner fenders. I will go prepared, with foam, box cutter, and black gorilla duct tape. Thank you for letting me know about this item.
- I will check for paint drips around the trunk lid.

I will report Tuesday evening California time. And will post more pictures.

I thought the shipping blocks were only the Dark Horse.

Are they on the regular GT also?

Make sure the backseat does not have a small rip between the seat cushion and back rest. I found this a month later since the back seat is so small I never was back there
till I cleaned it yesterday. Good luck, and congrats on your new stang!
