Hey guys. Second owner of a Dark Horse. 1400 miles on it when bought. I connected my phone to the car, got the app for the car etc and noticed in my "connected services" section, the live traffic option says "Cancellation Pending".
So I called ford, and they confirmed that service is in fact active, until march of 2028 (original purchase date was march 2025 so that matches up, I bought the car dec. 2025). However in the car, I cannot enable the weather or live map/traffic feature.
I had to do the sync reset to pair up my car to the ford app and all that went well, but I cannot for the life of me get the live maps to work. Some have suggested to do a factory reset, and said it can take up to 10 days to sort itself out. Well it's been over 10 days, and still no joy. Should I call ford and ask them to cancel the service then re-enable it? I'm at a loss here.
I don't want to use apple car play to get my live maps. If I have the service from ford free for 3 years, I want to use ford. (I don't like how apply car play interfaces with the car/phone). Any ideas/suggestions I should try? Thanks guys.
