Projector - Puddle light - fell out

Happened to both mirrors on my 2019. First time the dealer replaced the light. When it happened again, they replaced the whole mirror assembly on the assumption it the opening was slightly off. It still didn’t last long.

Both my puddle light clips broke within a few weeks of each other. I wrapped each one with electrical tape, about three times around, as low as possible just above the inside of the clear plastic base. Shoved them back into place - had to push a little to compress the electrical tape. In place now, nice and solid! Cheaper than $120 plus for a new pair!
If you try this and they are a too tight or too loose, remove or add a round of electrical tape until you get it right.

My plan is to try using PPF to hold them in place.
