Post your cold start, my V8 sounded like my 370z on cold start.

UPDATE: False Alarm, it’s because of the X-Pipe.

Sounds a tick off. FWIW, I'm not hearing anything that concerns me. Once in a while, I'd not be worried. If you hear that consistently, I'd begin looking deeper. So many variables can affect how it sounds.

The trail on the left side of the rear, is that condensation or expulsion drip from the exhaust?

The car is driven often? Or, how ever often, always driven up to and kept at full operating temps for 30 minutes or so? Something to fully heat the exhaust and remove any condensation?

Idk tbh but from sound clips on YouTube, all the new gen GT sounded like a V6 on the cold start. After rpm dies down then it became deeper V8 rumble.

I'll try to remember that in the morning. My 2019 Ranger (rather well Ford P tuned from exhaust to the turbo to the intercooler to the intake) always sounds like a 4 holer. The exhaust is a Ford-sold, Borla 3" system. The down pipe (I believe) caused the most significant change in sound. Previous to the down pipe, it was rather mellow and the intake rush was part of the joy. Afterwards... A raspy ruckus! Oh, but it does run a close second in 0 to 60.

Is it a V8?

Definitely cannot relate. Thing sounds obnoxious on a cold start, even was obnoxious before my H pipe. Even warm starts you can definitely tell there’s a V8. That’s very abnormal.

Do you have your cold start so I can compare it to mine?

If so then my hearing is messed up, I do have chronic tinnitus
I don't remember if it's you, but are you the one with the valve leak?
If so, I think now everything on your car sounds and feels different than other cars, because you know that something is wrong with it. If you can't fix the issue, cause I remember you are dealing with this for months now, is just to sell the car.

Psychologically it will always feel different and bad, because you know something was or is wrong with it, even after fixing all the issues, you will still feel that something is wrong.

Sorry man.

Tbh I don’t know if it’s valve leak or not. My oil seems to be at the same level. And as far as the sound, all other S650 GT sounded like a V6 as well. Maybe it’s just like that with the engine. Maybe I’m just bored and post non sense.
