Page 228 of the manul:

TRACK
For high-performance track driving. This mode increases throttle response and adjusts the transmissions shift schedule to both hold lower gears longer for faster acceleration and downshift more aggressively under braking. Traction and Stability Control intervention is reduced and tuned specifically for track usage.
[snip]
Use this mode for on-road courses, auto-cross style events, and on-road closed circuit track driving.
Note: This mode is for track use only and is not intended for public roads. Automatic Emergency Braking and Brake Over Accelerator systems are disabled.

On my car, putting it in Track mode indicates that traction control and stability control are off, at least according to the dash icons.
If you re-read the first post, he was in Drag Mode, not in Track Mode. I am assured that this has nothing to do with men in women's clothing.

Yea, I got that. My comment about track mode was based off my previous comment about the Mustang Unleashed instructors insisting on Track mode. My guess is that they know stability control in the other modes is insufficient.

ETA: My post 91 was a reply to someone's now deleted post.

Or the opposite, that the stability control takes over and cuts power way too early for performance use. I think that is more likely.

I still think we are wasting time on a troll or chat bot. This guy can't be real he's too stupid to have lived long enough to get a driver's license. Darwin's law would have gotten him by now! Just sayin'

My snarky comment would normally be .... "we're all adults here" but I don't think that's the case. LOL.

You might be referring to my post. I sort of noodled it through how the different modes affect street driving and thought the question I asked was pointless….so I deleted it.

Sorry for any confusion….

Should posts encouraging street racing even be permitted?
I doubt he was encouraging it in his post. But, regardless, don't we have enough censorship? Stupidity gets smacked down pretty quickly. As we have seen.

At first, I thought you were right but then I just got home from lunch, driving in normal traffic to meet up. Putting a 16 y.o. driving a Mustang GT as a first car in traffic is stupid. That simple. Giving a 16 y.o. a Mustang GT as his first car is also stupid. Posting a bot on forums is stupid also. Lots of time being wasted on a bot. If not a bot, there's more stupid in action. Daddy or bot should have just inserted, "Yamaha liter bike" instead of Mustang GT for even more stupid. That way, the OP wouldn't be a pest much longer. May not be anyway, sorry to say.

He is not yet 16.

The more I read this thread the less it matters, I think. Will it be any different when he's 20 y.o.? Some people need to see what a pool of blood on asphalt looks like before they drive.

There is no telling what learning experiences you can find. Try cruising in a town 50 miles from your grandparents, in their car, and getting suckered into peeling out at a light. The town cop just happened to be right behind you, and then it turns out he is an old fishing buddy of your grandfather. Always be aware of your surroundings. Going down a paved country road when the railroad tracks drop suddenly on the other side and a cow is in your lane. Always be prepared for the unexpected. There was a time when the adage "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" had validity. Now, its "What doesn't kill you, makes the lawyers richer". The times they are a changing, but as long as they let us, Mustang owners are going to let the good times roll.

For those who believe this thread is all AI. How does that happen? How can AI start a thread and elaborate a story? Does it still require a human to kick it off or is Skynet taking over already?

Seriously…I don’t know how any of this works. The most AI I know, is I’ll ask Grok some stuff sometimes.
