I noticed my DH felt better after about 1500 miles. At 1900 now and feels better as the miles tick off.

It's real. It also doesn't get cold where I live so I factored that out. My car just runs better. I'll accept that for what it is happily.

Cooler temps, no AC, winter blend fuel all factor in. The rest is between your ears.

My Billetworkz shifter knob added at least 10 hp. 😁

But seriously folks, I think the sweet spot is between 40˚ and 50˚ for best intake temps. The car accelerated like a scalded ape when it was those temps outside. colder air than that is denser, but butt dyno didn't notice any more drama, and tires are colder so didn't want to push it anyway.

I do also believe it will take several thousand miles before the engine truly "breaks in"

and yes, even on a series of similar days, the car seems to behave differently as far as acceleration feel.
