Magneride shock and strut failure @2500 miles

Brought the car in for inspection due to clunking in front right wheel. The ford shop found that both front shocks and struts have multiple failures. The car has been not been abused.

Car had 2500 miles when first noticed issue. Currently has 3,300 miles.

Parts won't get here until mid to late October.

That sounds like that could be the next recall, That's unheard of with very low mileage like that.

I have the same issue and an appointment with Ford in about a week. I bought the car new and only has 2300 miles. Barely drive it and no hard pulls.

Odds of both struts defective, well can happen or an electrical issue. Best of luck, I love my magnaride.

Good thought, but yes. I had them double check and I looked when I took delivery as well.

Ah ok. You said "both shocks and struts". Struts are upfront. Shocks are in the rear.

I do not have magneride and I have the performance package. Front-left strut went out at 9k miles.

What did the noise sound like? Asking because I have a clunk but also notice a low thudding sound in the suspension when going really slow over small bumps and pot holes

It sounds like a rubbery clunking. I have dashcam footage but it doesnt do it justice. I only heard it at lower speeds and was very inconsistent. It sounds like it could be related.
