Yup and I'm starting to view my $1000 down as a sunken cost now aka costs that are typically not included in consideration when making future decisions. The future decision is if I'm going to accept a convertible in the fall and the answer is already no.

My dealer insisted no deposit was necessary but I still made a $1000 deposit In case they did something shady once the car got there.
Were these deposits for Dark Horses?

There are so many cars parked at the Flatrock plant that Ford has to rent new parking space!?!
Ford must necessarily have a problem that is hidden from us…
If it was a problem, they would stop the production to not have to fix that many vehicles. This is just marketing delays. The good news is that OKTB is already reached.

Mine was a fully loaded GT $63,000
Hmmm...

I got a fully loaded GT Premium as well (just a bit less than yours costs) and didn't have to sign anything nor put down a deposit.

I'm getting mine 1% below invoice too...

That article was fake as .....
Yeah, that was thought when I saw it (the story about kids stealing Mustangs from Ramp 59).

If there was any legitimacy to it, all the big media outlets would have picked up on that story and reported it.

Guess I trusted my dealer, saleman said no money down needed.. Name is all over the paperwork and the data from FORD, so I guess it's mine when it arrives at the dealer... blend date 20230807

I put $1000 down first time, but since it never got started on, I was able to get my money back. 2nd dealer didn’t have us out anything down. He said this way when it comes in, if you aren’t 100% satisfied with it, we don’t have to buy it

Mine Said the reason they do that is because this way if you don’t love Everything about it or there’s something wrong you’re not stuck losing $1000 which does make sense, But if I see the price go up more than once on my paper, I won’t take it. I’ll get one somewhere else.on top of that, they charged me the $1000 for gas guzzler
I wonder if You wait until you go pay for it to wheel and deal.?
