Just downloaded the app and joined the community. Test drove the GT and the ecoboost recently and loved both. Ecoboost moreso due to its lighter weight and the handling just felt better to me. I thought the transmission and the torque were terrific! My seat of the pants dyno approved šŸ˜‰ just trying to decide between coupe and convertible šŸ¤”

Been away from the brand for a few years. Way back when, I had a 2011 GT500, a GT PP,
and then a GT350. Been on a motorcycle for about 7 years but had to give up riding. The Dark Horse came out right in time for that transition.

Joining from AZ. My last Mustang was an '87 GT 5-speed, white over silver with the blue trim stripe. Bought it new. It was a lot of fun to drive...I've never forgotten it. So I'm shopping and learning.

Hey guys. Greetings from Vancouver, Canada. Took delivery of my GT PP 301A, 6-speed, Shadow Black, last Sunday. New to Mustang, coming from a 2020 Civic Type R, looking forward to learning a lot from this group.

Already introed myself over at 6G (didn't know the 24s were different from the 15-23s). MEH! So, somewhat belatedly..................

Retired, career law enforcement, criminal justice, contract high risk security (Israel/West Bank, Iraq, Jordan, Afghanistan).

Not sure if I qualify for "gear head". Yea, I had a bright red Trans Am, couldn't drive 55, listened to head bangin' hair metal, but I never had a mullet [remember the law enforcement part? :)], so I was always suspect in the eyes of real gear heads . I have always tinkered with every car, motorcycle, quad I've owned though. Most turned out OK; some turned out "the other way".

First Car: 1969 Nova SS396 with the L78 solid lifter motor [because having to adjust your valves every 2500 miles is fun šŸ™„] 4.11 Detroit Locker diff; drove like an idiot all the time. Sold it after 6 weeks because I couldn't afford the Sunoco 260! Got $400 more than I paid for it though!

Second Car: 1970 SS454 Chevelle with the LS6 solid lifter motor (Yes. I was a slow learner!).

Most Recent: 2016 Nitrous Blue Focus RS. CAI, Borla cat back, Livernois Motorsports 93 O dyno tune.

Current: 2024 Rapid Red [no pics yet--no garage and it's been raining the last two days and the car looks like :curse:] GT Prem with Brembos, red calipers, 10 spd DCT, active exhaust, 20" wheels I don't like. Just fixed that by ordering a set of black 5 spokers from Discount Tire!

PS: Stand by for an OEM wheels for sale advert from me soon!

2024 Mustang GT Premium @
Hello from up north Wisconsin. Coming from a 2014 loaded Gt500 (9k miles) that I lost in a garage fire in late 2022. Rebuilt the garage last summer/fall, so it was time for some new wheels. Just picked up a 2024 GT premium with Brembos and active exhaust. Would have liked the pp, but none available with a six speed in rapid red. In fact, very few six speeds available. So had to buy off the lot, didnā€™t want to wait all summer. First thing up is to add a rear spoiler, short shifter and different wheels. Down the road when the boss isnā€™t looking, maybe the Whipple (probably), I want to drive it a little first.

Dealer photo, picked it up one day and left the next CA.

4th time Mustang owner here.
Had a 2005 V6, 2008 GT/CS and a 2023 GT

GT/CS got totaled (favorite car of all time. Put a lot into that one) and regretted selling my 2013 for a truck (was a great Built to Serve Ram) but happy that Iā€™m back behind the wheel and it feels like home again with my Black 2024 GT

added the RTR hood vent. Spoiler on the way. Wheels next and hopefully some more aftermarket pops up soon
