It sounds like a really cool piece of tech.

Personally, I'm nervous about putting another piece of software between throttle and engine.
It is cool but makes the throttle real touchy when u use the sport and I think chaos mode. I bought it for the valet mode but my tuner made me take it off when I got the Whipple put on

I have one that I removed off my car if anyone in new jersey wants one.
I’ll take it, but I’m in California if you’re willing to ship Usps

I dont mind shipping it. It was only on my car about 3 months. Definitely fun but I honestly bought it for the valet feature so shops cant trash my car when I drop it off for service

Doesn't your GT already have a built in valet mode from the factory?

Nope. They can only lock the infotainment system. Nothing to do with the throttle or cutting power

It actually works very well with the whipple tune and does not upset it at all. Makes it so much more fun to dial in your throttle response honestly. Id say try it out with it.

by the way, they have a discount code on these too that saves a few bucks. Well worth it. Code zander13

My shop who is very credible in the Whipple game (still have the fastest whipped darkhorse) said were taking it off when we install the whipple because they seen issues with loading the whipple tunes with them installed. Do I really need more throttle response than a stage 2 whipple??? I dont think so 🤣

All I was saying was you can test it out since you have loaded the tune. You may not need it but might like it. 🤷‍♂️

I just sold it and shipped it to a guy on this site yesterday for a great price since it was brand new, still had the plastic on the screen lol. He will enjoy it as I did on a stock car

I would agree with tuner and take it off when I whipple, then, in the night, the little demon that lives in my toolchest would convince me to put it back on...

I have the Soler, and I love it. As others said, it eliminates the "dead pedal" in first gear that bogs on rev up. I use Comfort 8, it is touchy, and I have *not* remapped my throttle in my tune.

When I get a whipple, I will likely use stock throttle mapping and go back to my soler, but the thing about a Whipple is you want big tall gears in powerband since you'll rev up quicker; I can absolutely see that a Soler dialed to Sport 8 would command an overwhelming amount of power out of a Whipple, the kind that would cause premature wear (more than a Whipple already).

BUT

You can pry the first gear throttle mapping out of my cold dead hands. Compromise is likely dropping Comfort 8 to Comfort 4, seeing if the soft spot is still gone, and then check logs/stay sane on the actual throttle demands hitting the Whipple. Remember, the Soler doesn't add power, it just remaps the accelerator demand, which *still* has to get a throttle demand from the HDFX/Distance Tables. If those maps are still stock, then the Soler would probably be OK.

What you DON'T want to do is have the tuner put a hair trigger on the throttle in the tune, then amplify that with the Soler, all hitting a Whipple that would be convinced you just want to floor it all the time. Fun until you fail the Smoke Test...

Before in Sport mode you hit the throttle and there was a lag before the car took off.

Now when you mash the throttle it takes off like you would expect it to.
Sounds interesting. Coming from turbo cars I would change the down pipe for off the line throttle but this controller sounds almost too good to be true but I am intrigued as well.
