Installed NOCO Gen 5 battery maintainer

I have the Noco Genius 10 and connected as per above to my DH. Noco is set to AGM and light remains on green, however the Ford app will notify me after a few weeks that "Remote features disabled to preserve battery".

Thoughts on if it's on the battery tender side, or something else to look into?

Battery tender maybe not working properly. Your car shouldn't go into battery save mode with your tender on. My son had purchased 3 tenders for his car collection and one was bad. Plenty of Noco tenders not working have been reported. Noco is no worse than other maintainers as they have problems as well. QC today is left up to the consumer.

So reviving an older post, This will be my first winter coming up and parking my mustang till spring is this still the general consensus of hooking up a battery tender to the positive and negative jump post for winter storage?

Very helpful thread. In 15 min I had my 2024 GT nicely attached to a CTEK tender. Have to admit I was surprised to see it only with 2 lights as I just drove it Thursday on some decent trips. Thanks all!!

Three years ago, give or take, the wife and I picked up a 4.5 amp Battery Tender brand unit from Costco. Came with both ring terminal hookups and one with clamps. Works very well.

They have a 5 amp style now at Costco, same brand, if you're a member.

How and where are you mounting the battery charger to the car? I see some have mounted them to the car.
