This thread hasn't been haunting me, nonetheless I went out and looked for used 2024/2025 Mustangs. There 'were' two almost identical 2025s (save for color). Both Premiums, one dead stock as far as I could tell, the other had an added rear wing and after-market (non stock) rims. The stock one with 39,000 miles was just over $30K . The ugly one (wing and all) had just 27,000 miles was $24,950. The conclusion is obvious—added-on googaa is not always smart!

I'd rather keep my car bone stock than cheap out on ugly mods. You gotta pay to play.

This… the right modifications help with selling private party. The problem is too many people think they know what the right modifications are…

I wouldn't buy a significantly modded car, like more than just new wheels or maybe a brake upgrade, the reason being; I don't know who did it and/or I don't know if they knew what they were doing.

How was it taking the original shifter knob off? Any tips? Been thinking about changing mine out as well. Looks great !!!!
You just unscrew the shifter knob; it takes a littler muscle, but not much. The stock shifter knob doesn't have a locking nut but the Ford Performance shifting knob does.
This allows you to play around with the shifter height. The lower you install the shifter knob the shorter the shifting throw feels, install the shifter knob a little higher, the longer the shifter throw feels.
Personally, I like the feel of a slightly longer shifter feel. for me it seemed that it shifted smoother and has more of a relaxed feel to it.

I attached the shifting Knob installation instructions.

For the record, floor mats and trunk liners aren't mods. Neither are seat belt extenders or window tint. Some of you crack me up. 🤣

I doubt we'll mod ours since it's my wife's car and she's not into cars much. Then again, I never figured she'd want a Mustang, especially with a V8, so maybe I've brought her over to the dark side. :)
Keep your eyes on the rear tires. She may be having too much fun with it.

Hand or car wash?
Hand wash only. I guess putting my hands on it is modding it or does that not count? It also gets car wash soap on it. I guess it is modded now.....
