Yep, that's exactly what people mean when they say "pretty fast". A clean car is fast car. The Honda Civic parked in my garage next to the Mustang is just as clean as the GT. I just can't bring myself to drive a dirty car for long.

I like clean cars, but it seems mine are never clean. I have a hard time keeping them so. Every time I wash them, God schedules rain immediately. In addition, it is hot and sunny, and I live on a well, so I frequently have a hard time with not leaving water spots on the car.

Here are my two cents of what one can do and still call it stock –

• Wash and wax your car. [hand wash/wax only].
• Add new carpet mats. [aftermarket ok].
• Install rear view mirror car scent. [aftermarket ok].
• Trunk net. [aftermarket ok].
• Install different shifter knobs. [Ford products only].
• Install front shock tower brace bracket [Ford products only].
• Install under carriage handling braces. [Ford products only].
• Lowering springs and upgraded shocks/struts, [Ford products only].
• Side panel Air scoop. [Ford product only].
• Rear quarter window louvers. [Ford product only].
• Rear window louvers. [Ford products only].
• Add rear spoiler. [Ford products only].
• Exhaust system, X or H pipe. [Ford products only].
• Engine, Trans and Rear Differential oil cooler. [Ford products only].
• Change Differential gear ratio. [Ford products only].
• Ford wheels and performance wheel center caps. [Ford products only]
• Air Filters ‘washable’. [aftermarket ok, Stock air tub and housing must remain.]
• AIR/OIL SEPARATOR KIT. [Ford products only].
• Vinyl racing stripes and graphics ok.
• MUSTANG GT AND DARK HORSE SUPERCHARGER KIT. [Ford products only, we will need to vote on this]. The I’s have it.

Bottom line – If it’s a Ford part that can be bought by the public off the Ford Performance website, it will be consider stock.

What’s not considered stock.

• Any aftermarket parts except what has already been addressed above.
• No internal engine modifications,
• No engine tunes unless it’s from Ford Performance.

Disagree. Installing parts that are legit upgrades (e.g. a GT with Ford Performance track suspension, Dark Horse handling package wheels & tires, or a Dark Horse differential cooler, etc.) imo would not be stock. Performance package bits on a non performance package car would still be stock, imo, since a PP Mustang is a "stock" GT.

X-pipes and H-pipes are not stock, even if Ford branded, since Mustangs don't come with them from the factory. Same with Ford Performance by Borla exhaust systems. Essentially the same as an aftermarket exhaust. I don't consider Mustangs with dealer installed superchargers to be stock, either. Only if they're factory installed like the 2020-22 GT500.

For well water you can buy inline water filters that go on the end of your garden hose. I use them to top off our swim spa.
