Anybody figure out how to keep the gear position on the dash? The 2022 airways showed what gear the transmission (A10) was on

I mean, if you brick something, yes.
and if you make an ... inarticulate change, maybe - ex.: F150ās had an optional subwoofer by kicker, and that option disabled auto stop/start - as well as battery management system. So if you disabled BMS with a forscan mod and it was found, yeah, you are probably going to own that issue.
But if youāre worried about continuous gear display, I would say donāt worry.
The Raptor crew love to screw around with the daytime running lights w/ FORSCAN. That often ends in tears, frustration and a post about āanyone have trouble with DRLāsā and then a few replies later they own up to modding it with FORSCAN. One headlight not working, or one marker not going out; ever, etc. Then one of the more seasoned posters asks about their module backups, and of course, thereās always an excuse.
So there is definitely some stuff that can go sideways, but, there are plenty you can use but for something thatās ātoggledā, theyāre basically setting a default. Could someone balk at continuous gear display? Who knows... Probably not.
