For the last couple days, my dash cluster has defaulted to the calm mode whenever I start the car. I have to hit the pony button and switch it to the match drive mode option to get it to switch back. Any way to have it start with the normal cluster again?

Same thing here, yesterday got it back from the dealer. On mine it only seems to be happening on my Personal Profile 1. If I create and save one on 2 or 3 it is normal. Not going back to the dealer.

Tomorrow going to try a system reset, and battery disconnect. I'll report back

Mine eventually stopped doing it. Took a day or two. I did a couple of screen resets by holding the right skip track button and the volume down button at the same time. Not sure if that's what fixed it or not but it's worth a try.

You have to live with the new screens full of errors. Ford is not a digital genious at all. The most digital they can go without mistakes is the 2018+ digital dash. But making full screens with all the wipwaps is a little bit too much for Ford. Maybe in 10 years, but not now.

Check the car settings. There’s one that lets you set a time for “quiet mode” (so basically if you start the car in the middle of the night it’s not so Loud and won’t wake the neighbors.) it’s possible you have that set up on a schedule and that’s why in the mornings it’s starting up in quiet mode…

Sheesh and I finally just got my dash to default back to normal mode as it was going to sport mode every time I started the car or even set to custom. Eventually it fixed itself. Not sure how or why.
