How to access BCM fuse box?

Hi all,

I want to hard wire my radar detector to the BCM fuse box, but I'm not sure how to access it. For the Mustang S550, I found I can pull the left side of the panel to release it from the clips and then lift it up to access. This methodology doesn't seem to work for the S650 model. The owners manual guides pulling the top of the panel, but that hasn't worked either. Does anyone know how to access the fuse box?

Ford doesn't want it to fly open when doing hard cornering hitting extreme G's.

I tapped into the rain sensor power just behind the rear view mirror. There are a couple of decent threads on here detailing that, one with a video.
