Hi all,

I want to hard wire my radar detector to the BCM fuse box, but I'm not sure how to access it. For the Mustang S550, I found I can pull the left side of the panel to release it from the clips and then lift it up to access. This methodology doesn't seem to work for the S650 model. The owners manual guides pulling the top of the panel, but that hasn't worked either. Does anyone know how to access the fuse box?

Ford doesn't want it to fly open when doing hard cornering hitting extreme G's.

Thanks for sharing ! I think I saw your post too late. Just done with hardwiring. Sigh
Which fuses did you use? Having issues with trying to hard wire. Get 12.3v at the barrel of the plug, but the unit won't activate. Suspect that there's an issue with either the fuses I chose or one of the limbs of the circuit (needs constant power and switched...one might be broken).
