I have owned 4 Mustangs total. Loved them all in their own way. I definitely jumped around a bit but I’m impressed with the 2024 and plan to keep this one for a long time!

I went from a '23 M1 to a '24 GT as well. Curious what your reasoning was. Mine was mostly because I found the 24 GT to be a much more comfortable daily driver.

Interesting seeing multiple people go from 15gt to Mach , then S650.
Wondering why others did it so quickly?
Mine was because I made a mistake listening to the wife and buying an auto Mach 1
For me there were a few reasons. - Transmission, comfort, tech, and minor mechanical problems.

My M1 was my daily driver. I loved that car and the Tremec was killer. But it was lowered and had the HP wheels and tires. It looked amazing but It was just not a comfortable daily driver after a while for me. Too stiff and bumpy. And as great great as the Tremec is, it got to be pretty arduous rowing gears in traffic with the 3.73 rear end. I felt like I could rarely wind the car out like it wanted to be.

There were also a few mechanical things that soured me in the car. The 2k rattle was terribly loud in that car and always bothered me. There was some 5th gear bite. And the lowering springs gave me a ton of alignment grief. Then the front suspension started squeaking. After multiple shops, camber plates, money, and no resolution, it just started hurting my enjoyment of the car. In hind sight it was my fault for buying a lowered car. I should have done more research and gotten a non-HP converted M1.

I was about to take the suspension and wheels/tires back to stock non HP, when I decided to drive a '24 GT for giggles. That really opened my eyes. The S650 is so much more refined and the tech is a huge step up. I drove a 6-speed that was kinda meh, and then drove an A10 and was shocked by how smooth and fast it was. I had to make peace with going back to an auto, but my classic is a manual so I'm good with it.

If my M1 were a second car I would probably have kept it. But for my DD purposes I'm much happier with my '24 GT.

I've owned a total of 2 Mustangs (so far). Started out with a 2016 V6 (Triple Yellow, 051A package, and even a manual transmission which was an uncommon combination). Went on to modify it fairly heavily and absolutely loved everything about the car for as long as I had it.

Sold the V6 after about 4 years of ownership and regretted it every single day as I shuffled through a variety of other vehicles in an attempt to fill the void. Eventually made my way back around to my current 2024 GT towards the end of 2024. Planning to hang onto this one for the foreseeable future.

I ended up moving from Texas back to my home state of Rhode Island. Before the move, I decided to trade-in the Mach 1 as I felt it was going to be unpractical due to the weather and poor road quality (it was my daily driver). I was also very, very obsessed with keeping the car mint since it was “limited edition” and every speck of wear was getting to me.

I got into a WRX for about a year but I was dying for a V8 with Brembos so I made the jump into the S650. I bought it used with a few issues like a small windshield chip, swirls, etc to keep myself from going OCD again!

I was having issues with rattles in my Mach 1 that were driving me insane and my 10 speed was also exhibiting super rough shifts which Ford wasn’t able to fix the first time around. Between that, my OCD for keeping the car nice, and my pending move, I just decided to get out of the car and into something simpler, hence the defection to the WRX for a little while. I was super impressed with the S650 when I drove it and knew it was the right car for me, so I totally understand.

I've gone through 5 Mustangs. Unfortunately my old hard drive crashed and lost all my photos.

For some reason the A10s in the M1s are known to be really glitchy. I suspect the tune was specialized for the M1 and it was just poorly done.

Thankfully, I've had no issues with my S650 A10 (knock on wood). I think Ford revised the tune for the 24 plus cars.

I can see driving a manual in traffic being a huge buzz kill!
And I know all about modifying Mustang suspensions and always chasing noises.
After multiple mustangs we all learn a lot from experiences, that’s for sure!
Buying the best suspension for your needs stock is a huge lesson I learned. Plus the new chassis on s650 seems to be night and day better than previous .
And I’m glad to hear you got a good 10-speed , as you know I’m pretty butt hurt over my decision to get the 10-speed back in 21… lol

I'm sentimental about my cars, so everytime I sell or trade one it's a hard choice. But I did learn a lot from that M1 experience. I learned not to buy a track car as a daily driver, and dont modify suspension (or buy a moded car) unless it's done all at once by a legitimate pro shop that will stand by their work. I also learned that manuals are truly awesome...in a second car. 🤣

Now that I know better, I'm considering getting an inexpensive manual car that I can track and beat on without stressing out over how pristine it is like I did with the M1.
