How long to get an order number?

It has been 10 days since I ordered the car at the dealer and I have yet to receive an order number. I saw the threads saying it usually arrives within a day or two. Didn’t know if recently it is taking longer to get an order number.

Was wondering what others recent experiences are, thanks.

You should receive an email right when your dealer sends it in. The order ID is the number your dealer assigned it and sent to ford.

If you don’t have an email confirmation your dealer did not enter your info correctly or they have not sent it.

Check with your dealer that they have your correct email in the system. You should receive the "we've received your order" email as soon as your dealer places it.

I am having the same issue
You should receive an order confirmation in one to two business days.

Check back with the dealer. Sometimes...

- E-mail is entered incorrectly
- Dealer inputs their own contact information
- Customer gives the dealer an old or incorrect e-mail, by mistake

If those three things are not the issue, get a printout from the salesperson, confirming the order number and when placed.

Things like this, I physically visit the dealer and salesperson. Simply let them know why you're there and you'll take a seat until the issue is resolved.

Thanks. Been over a month and still no email verification or anything on my Ford.com account. Have verified my email with both my dealer and Ford. I am pretty rural, so a trip to the dealer is over 2 hours round trip....

Have verified my email with both my dealer and Ford.
Ya, I'd call the dealer and confirm the order # and when placed.

I'd also confirm AdBlockers and Anti-Virus are not deleting or blocking e-mails from Ford.

And, considering where we are in the Model Year, options, constraints, etc., speak to the order's chances of being cancelled. Not much life left in this MY.

Called the Dealer and they gave me the order #, but I still have not received any email from Ford. The dealer is going to have to follow up on that they said.

I had ordered a 2024, but the dealer said Ford has changed it to a 2025. I had forgotten to ask and need to follow up now to see what stereo was ordered. 2024 model included the B&O in the package, but it is a stand alone option for 2025. I don't know how Ford is treating the stereo when a 2024 order is changed to a 2025.
