I would love to have the sound of the old days that thump! I am going to have the Whipple installed and while we are into it - What should I do?
If I change the am, anyone recommend some specs or part number to buy?
I have also heard of a 'Ghost Cam or Tune' will that give me what I want?

@Mdemby57 ..... good project. If supercharging (IMO) think, up-graded timing chain kit, oil pump upgrade, new rods.

You can’t tune these cars yet, outside of the tunes that come with the approved superchargers. Cams for the S550 did not change the sound, so I doubt it would for the S650, barring the “ghost cam” tunes that some people got.

Bro… go buy a fox or something with a high lift, solid roller cam setup .

or a LS vehicle with a nasty cam.

The whole point of variable cam timing is not needing to grind in a ton of overlap and duration.

With a little math and the cam specs available on line, you can calculate the max equivalent overlap of a Coyote 5.0. I won't give it away, but anyone doing the exercise will be surprised!
