Help-Safety Recall for Ford Performance Supercharger Upgrade

Reviewed this recall sheet and checked the Ford Web site and conflicting information. Has anyone been able to have this completed yet? Recall is for the FP Whipple SC upgrade and PCM Software issue for WOT having accelerator sticking.

• Recall Mail Notice states fix under development and expected Q1 2026.
• Online notice states awaiting parts?

My understanding is this is a reflash to PCM correcting issue

Thoughts on this please

PS: Car currently stored for winter, but would like it resolved before it goes back on the road in April

Thanks and went through this. Nothing new here. I did talk to Ford and they have no information on when this fix is completed.

Mr.Hadelson;
I called whipple direct last month when got the notice. They had me email them my vin#. They emailed me back in about 3 business days. With instructions. Not wanting to do this myself. I went to dealership where my whipple was installed. They said that takes care of the PCM problem(which never showed up once) and supposedly this new tune also incurred the latest Ford Performance tune as well. Told them car is put up until spring and they said no problem just call when your ready and we'll take care of that and the leaking recall. BTW my is a Stage II. Dealership fully gte because their a Rousch dealer and I didn't like Rousch. I also have extended gte they gave same gte in writing. Depends on how we treat them I guess. It's not the dealership I bought the car from either.

WARNING, If you have not had the recall done yet, you may want to wait. My 24 DH is currently stuck at Ford while Ford Engineering tries to figure out why the Whipple recall coupled with the BCM water intrusion recall have caused the following; throttle response lag/delay, EAS not performing as intended in sport/track, 10R80 shifting slow/sluggish in all modes and sometimes acting out of the ordinary in some modes..i.e trying to down shift with rev match in normal mode, magnaride not firming up suspension in various modes, and lastly my windows are now randomly deciding to roll down if i go over a bump or if i roll them up at times.
