I think you're correct, for you. :) Personally, I am going to need those surfaces covered in leather and stitching (401A) or it's going to be a 90's plastic fantastic on the inside.
The Premier trim with the color accent group is worth the price of admission as part of the 401a.

I think a lot of people are confused on 400 and 401 packages... Or I am.

I read this as 400a (aka premium) comes with leather, heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel, single bezel screen... 401a only adds things that do not matter to me and the copilot 360... which you can add separately to 400 trim.

Am I way off basis?
If you look at the order guide (reply #2) or my posts above you can see the detailed differences. For me, 401A is a must have @ only $2900. I believe it's also the only way to get the red interior.

Alright, cool. I wanted to make sure I was reading that correctly since several people mention 401A for things like leather or heated steering wheel and heated and cooled seats. You had to get the 401A on the S550 to get cooled seats but I noticed that was now standard on the premium. That's a very important feature to me.

Heated and cooled seats were standard as part of the 400a package on the S550.

You are correct. It was the heated steering wheel and digital cluster that was in the 401a.

@DemonWorks ..... the big ones for me were the one piece screen - a big incentive, as was dual zone climate controls, B&O with trunk sub, full leather (heated and cooled) seats, with color choice. There are a lot of other cosmetics that I appreciated too. I'll see if I can attach a picture of the interior with two tone leather seats (black + space gray) and the dash.
