I made a educated guess lol.
With it basically being a M1, I can't see it getting much worse MPG than the GT. I see maybe 2-3 miles worse tops.

FWIW, Gas Guzzler on '22 HP was $1000, manual transmission.

Actually, it's reverse of that. $1,000 for Auto $1,300 for manual. Mine is an auto & $1,000 is the charge.

I would expect for the DH which the letter refers. Your invoice was a surprise to me as it did not show a charge for GG tax. For what you Canadians spend above what we spend on vehicles they should let the tax slide.

why are you surprised by the gas guzzler tax? its not something new. its been around since the 90's

Everytime I went to Canada to race I found almost all things cost more. Some was due to difference in the dollar. I had to list all my tools and spare parts crossing the boarder. When I returned agents would make sure I didn't sell anything. Buy cheaper in the US and sell higher there. I know even going on vacation to Canada I had to put paper work in for GST tax for refunds. I have many friends that come here for the winter and seem extremely happy with prices.
