Has anyone had the issue with their car getting around 25-30 mi until empty and then it just rapidly drops to 0?

I haven't allowed it to get that low. I noticed right away the miles to E went down rapidly (probably because of my driving) and figured I'd keep it fairly full. I don't think I've been down to even 1/4 tank

How fast were you driving that beast? 🤣

Unfortunately I was barely speed limit. I just watched it constantly tick down over a 3 mile span

yes, there is a TSB for this. call your local ford dealer and ask them to make an appointment to have the fuel level reading dropping to 0 randomly fixed. let me find the reference number and ill post it.

TSB Reference #24-2071.

as Carter said, there is a TSB for exactly this on manual transmission vehicles where at 1/4th tank and below, the distance to empty estimate may just go to 0 randomly. the fix is having the PCM reprogrammed, probably something that could even be done as a waiter

How many miles to empty does the gauge say when you guys fill up? I average 18.2 mpg but the miles to empty varies from 265-304. My 18 averaged 22.4 and usually 324 miles to empty.

I need a lighter right foot. The highest range my fuel gauge has read after 2500 miles on the odometer is 282 miles 😂

I was mostly curious because there's a big difference between the 18 and this one. But to be fair, I didn't buy it to save on fuel, it's a weekend fun car.
