Has anyone noticed a lag between when the fill up their tank at the station, and what the fuel gauge indicates?
For example:
My tank was shown to be at 1/4.
I filled up my tank completely, turned my car on, and the gauge only showed that my tank was 2/5 full, when it should be...at FULL.
The next morning I check my gauge, and it finally shows it at full.

I've fulled my car up 3 times so far, and it's always had a lag.

I’ve filled up about 7 times and never had a lag.

While I didn't exactly experience that, one thing that I've noticed is that, after a drive around lets say my gauge shows it is slightly below half a tank; If I start my car the next day, the gauge will show it is slightly above half a tank. I've always found that super weird for some reason.

Haven't had to fill my Mustang tank yet, but my '19 Taurus does the exact same thing. It's pretty weird but you get used to it.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'm going to fill up one more time and see what happens...then take it to the dealer if it persists

I’ve never had any lag.
I just fill it up and it says full.

Have kinda the same issue all the time I fill the tank.

The car was serviced-checked twice at Ford, they do something to "fix" (reset) the gauge and it comes back to the usual 250 miles to empty (with a full tank).

When I spend the whole tank and refill, it gives me a lower number (which seems random).. Today was 208, last time was 172 miles to empty (with the full tank) and there it goes.
