Hey everyone,

I have an Australian Mustang, and I noticed that unlike the US models, the front tri-stripe DRL turns off when the turn signal is activated. I’d prefer it to stay on so that the DRLs are either white or amber, rather than turning off when the indicator is on.

Does anyone know if there’s a setting in Forscan to change this behavior? If anyone in the US could share their BCM As-Built file for comparison, that would be really helpful in figuring out the correct adjustment.

Thanks in advance!

Go to BCM

726-38-02 xxx* xxxx xx--

Change to 0 to allow DRL when using turn signal
Change to 1 to dim DRL when using turn signal
Change to 2 to disable DRL when using turn signal

First check if yours is set to number 2. If so, try 0 or 1.

Make sure to do a backup before changing anything.

Thanks mate. Forgot to mention that I have already tried this one, but I used the Forscan simple mode not directly changing the code tho.

Did that work for your car? Maybe something else also need to be changed I wonder.

Let me get this straight. You want your white DRL stay on when you use your turn signals right?

You don't want your turn signals stay on with your DRL. These are two different things.

Yep, I want when the turn signal is on it's like: 3 amber, 2 amber 1 white, 1 amber 2 white.

Currently it's 3 amber, 2 amber 1 off, 1 amber 2 off.

one thing to note is that the front indicator behaves differently with the running lights depending on whether you have your headlights on.

when your headlights are off, the running lights turn off when the indicator is turned on, then when the indicator turns off, the running lights fade back on

when your headlights are on, the indicator "replaces" the white lights with amber, which go back to white when that section of amber turns off

I think what you described is what I want. Currently even with the headlights on, the white bars don't come back when the amber turns off

Alright, make a backup first, because it's always good to go back to your own settings if something doesn't work and change the following:

LDCMA
6F6-01-02xxx0xxxxxx--

LDCMB
6F7-01-02xxx0xxxxxx--

BdyCM
726-38-01xxxxxxx0xx--

Let me know if this did the job.

So I tried the above and it didn't work. I also tried what you said on another post Here , which someone had succeeded but still no luck for me, it just made the turn signal clicking sound a lot faster. I also tried the GTC splash screen and no luck.

I guess it's because I have a Job 1 BCM :(

Too bad. Than I have no clue how to change it.
But the link you are referring to where you said somebody had it done is not true. If you read carfully he said it didn't work. So until now, nobody changed it yet and we still have to find out how. At this moment I don't know how if this didn't work.

The only other way this might work is to change your region since some options are hardcoded together with the region.

I think the link I referred did work. What he described is what I after: "3 lights amber, then 2 amber and 1 white, then 2 white and 1 amber, then all white".

Here is a video how it looks like at 1:30, I think all us model have this by default.
