I got a heated wheel with paddles but my stock wheel is not heated. Will the paddles still work?
I don't get the paddles part. I would understand the question if you asked if the heated wheel will work.

On my GT Premium if you hit either side of the buttons on the back of the steering wheel, the Gear Indicator shows under the RPM Gauge for the Automatic. This is while in Drive.

Do you think this will work on a 100A? This PRNDL thing is driving me insane, didn't really expect it. I'd be willing to do an upgrade for my sanity, nothing annoys me more right now than letting off the gas before a shift and not being able to drop the RPMs.

I'm also not sure how the L is supposed to function, is it just a first gear lockout? I saw someone else on the forum here talkin about putting it in L and hammer down for launching, but haven't had the car long enough to test that theory.

I got my wheel installed today but my paddles are not working in D or M. My display shows the "M" instead of L. I can see what gear I'm in when in D and when in L it acts like its in M and will not shift. I did do the coding in forscan before I installed the wheel. You think that could be the problem?

Hi guys, I have a non-PP Eco 2024 (build date 08/2023). I made my own harness and cut the holes for the paddle shifters (magnetic with carbon fiber) — all good there, they’re working perfectly.

My problem is that I can’t get the Continuous Gear Display to show in any drive mode other than Sport. For Select Shift PCM 7EO-163-01 1001-0100-015E I updated from 015E to 025E, cuz i didn't have 7E0-03-01 .

@fablighting
I did these on my car

- Enable Gear Select SST in FORScan (IPC 720-02-01 *xxx xxxx xx--) change 0 to a 4. This is what changed the "L" on my instrument cluster to "M" to actually show gears.
- Enable Continuous Gear Display in FORScan (IPC 720-12-01 xx*x xxxx xx--) change C to E or just use "easy mode" for this swap.

continuous gear display was already enabled, I don’t have paddle shifters (201A-ecoboost premium with premium electronics package) but it was still enabled.
Though gears were not displaying on mine, then enabled this
- Enable Gear Select SST in FORScan (IPC 720-02-01 *xxx xxxx xx--) change 0 to a 4. This is what changed the "L" on my instrument cluster to "M" to actually show gears

now gears are displayed but my automatic start stop does not work, it shows this symbol on the bottom right
IMG_7530.jpeg
IMG_7529.jpeg

so I tried enabling the third thing
- Enable Select Shift in FORScan (PCM 7E0-03-01 xxxx xxxx x*--) change 1 to a 2. This will make the "L" selection on your gear shifter behave like "M" should but will not change it on your instrument cluster

but in forscan it shows something like, “service interrupted” when I try to do IPC write.

what should I do now; any pointers? No DTCs, (there are 1-2 related to imaging module A or something)

But I am not sure why my automatic start stop start stop does not work? And why I am unable to write to IPC.

I also enabled WAL, and WALF and auto lock from the sheet.

If you guys have any suggestions
Hi, was the start/stop function affected after this? I think mine also stopped working.
