I just looked up BMW M2 CS and they’re 110-120k plus
we’re talking DHSC money, that’s the comp, not a 50-60k GT/DH

because the M2's have a LOT more torque. TQ beats HP.Very true.
Example, an M2 with less HP pulls hard on a Mustang in many videos
Also I’ve seen it dyno’s at advertised HP
Well not really, hp is the application of torque. Power to weight plus ability to apply wins.because the M2's have a LOT more torque. TQ beats HP.
Torque is HP. Torque is the work done. HP is torque over time.because the M2's have a LOT more torque. TQ beats HP.
Looking at dyno charts.. the M2's peak TQ is at about 2700 rpms. The DH peak TQ is about about 5000rpms.Well not really, hp is the application of torque. Power to weight plus ability to apply wins.
Launching at 5000rpms with a manual (that's what we're talking about here) will just light up the tires (stock tires here). So yes.. TQ below 5000rpms matters. Not going to below 5k rpm drag racing them
You don't have to get a CS, a regular M2 will beat a DH or GT. A base M2 runs $69K...
A 6spd manual will run 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and do the 1/4mile in 12.1@120mph...

Dyno charts don’t run races. Don’t forget the rest of the statement.Looking at dyno charts.. the M2's peak TQ is at about 2700 rpms. The DH peak TQ is about about 5000rpms.
BMW has the OEM turbos spooling up pretty quickly to get the peak TQ so early.
Yea, guys are posting their stock times for M2/3/4's on the forumsSo the regular M2 is only 473 hp. It does 11.6 at 124 mph, so, yeah, it would kick a stock Dark Horse's ass.
Are they running that kind of mph in the real world?
Damn. Makes me want to buy one . . .Yea, guys are posting their stock times for M2/3/4's on the forums
