My guess is the reveal in January with be the affordable ev truck, likely called the ranchero. When it comes to the motorsports to consumer car connection, Ford has talked about the F1 influence on their affordable EVs, specifically in terms of how they'll look, and their areo, which was done by F1 aerodynamicists.

Not to mention Ford usually holds an annual event in January where they talk about their upcoming motorsports plans for the year. It's pretty much a guarantee that Ford will reveal their F1 car at this event prior to entering it in the '26 season.

It just makes sense to reveal their F1 car and this affordable EV around the same time. Here's this cool F1 car, and while we have your attention, here's this fun affordable EV that was inspired by F1 aero experts.

The way I see it, there are a few options for what this reveal could end up being. From most to least likely.

The affordable EV truck for reasons I mentioned, the ties to F1 that has right as Ford's getting ready to enter F1 in 2026. I'd love it if Ford decided to reveal multiple affordable EVs at the same time.

The gt 500 successor with clear ties to things like the GTD.

This off-road supercar with Baha and Dakhar inspiration, I'm envisioning like a Ford GT body with raptor suspension.

So i doubt we'll see an F1 car, F1 this past year started a whole "reveal" event in February.

I honestly think a Mustang is most likely due to the spy shots we've seen. Otherwise I'd say a next gen Raptor of some kind.

Ford has history in so many forms of racing, they ooze credibilty. F1 and Le Mans races in the 60's used to piss me off, being a Ferrari fan.

Yeah, didn't Ford win Le Mans something like '66 , '67, '68, & '69?

But how would we get a next gen raptor when we don't have a next gen f-150 coming for several years, and the raptor often launches years after that?

If it's anything raptor branded, I hope it's that raptor supercar, that would be badass. I just hope it's actually a supercar and not some SUV or some shit.

Ranger and Bronco also have Raptor trims. The current F150 raptor is also 5 years old so coud be due for a reup

I think the most likely car to come out of this in January would be something based on the Mustang. It's the one we've not only heard but seen the most of in recent times. I know Ford has been saying they want to be the Porsche of offroad, but we've yet to see or hear any based rumors about anything that could be Raptor-esque.

For me personally, now I'm wondering which of the two expected variants is going to be unveiled - the Boss-equivalent, or the GT500 successor. Unless the prototypes we've seen were one and the same car in different forms...

I get what you're saying, but both the next gen f-150 and bronco aren't coming out until 2028/29.

I personally believe it's the EVs because those have the strongest motorsports connection, people from F1 directly worked on them, and had heavy involvement, and those are releasing in late 2026.

But I also believe a cobra gt500 style successor is likely, maybe we'll get both.
