The tune is unlikely to be purchased by a 28 year old female who thought the color on the Ecoboost Mustang was "cute" and does not even know how to check the oil level.

The Mustang itself is very likely to be purchased by such a person.
I dunno man, I think a lot of buyers fall into that category, you just described my GF (she's not 28 though  )

Heck, my mom also bought her Mustang just because of the color.

Wouldn't most people be better off getting a tune from EMS for their Eco?

Yeah but you have to spend a little bit more on extra parts if you want it to make it worth it, also the warranty will leave the chat

And their bigger downpipes and so on . . . yes, if pure performance were the only goal. But it would instantly void the Ford warranty.

warranty could be half gone on a 2025 by now anyway

at least you'd get the claimed 400hp instead of only 350 (if you're running some e85)

It depends of your situation, my 25 had only 4k miles as today, so it’s gonna be a minute

But when did you buy it? This year or last year, or the year before?

Also, knocks you down from a 5/60 to 3/36

Last December, I was just walking in my local Ford, and they did have this nice 25 with just 100 miles on it for 29k. I had to get it.

I just tried to call my dealership, and I will probably do it myself. They have been passing hand to hand, and no one knows anything. Not surprised since getting a touch-up pen from them is an “special order.”
Not sure how it goes in your area but when I did the CAI + Calibration on my S550, I had to find a Ford Dealer who had Tech’s that we trained in using the Software and doing the Installation. In my area, there were only 3 Dealers who had the “Certified” Technicians who could do the install. Basically, you‘re following the Instructions that are in the box but it is a kind of a lengthy install. Lol, but I guess this keeps it aligned (assuming) with being able to apply the Ford Factory Warranty part.

Guess I’ll go ahead and say it and accept the incoming comments on why the GT doesn’t need it because of the DH but the GT could stand to be a receiver of a Ford Performance (or Ford Racing) Calibration to increase the ALREADY Strong motor.

Apparently, lady in blue Mustang behind me could keep up?? Same lady in Walmart parking lot (sic): Why did you take the 5.0 emblems off? My reply: I didn't. All you need is the Ford Performance Tune. Lady: where can I buy that? I told her. Please don't sell modestly-dressed women who look like soccer moms, short! They may know more than you do!

Ready to pull the trigger but having issues with finding a dealer to install in my area. Checked with 3 of my nearest dealers. 2 are listed on the FP site and only one said they would do it…..but they only sell Ford Trucks. They do work on cars however.

You need a PC running Widows, and connected to the net. Takes about 45 minutes. If you goof up, Ford's tech team can walk you through the install. If "I" had it to do all over again, I would do it myself! The dealer took 4+ days to do the job. I can tell you why, but that is almost a book-length saga.

I have installed multiple programs on cars in the past…..back they were from SuperChip. They were easy just follow the directions as is this Ford Performance Tune. Found a dealer 2 hours away who would do it with a minimum of 2 hours labor. Only reason I wanted a dealership was the warranty. I think I will order it and decide on where and how later. Thanks
