Will OTA updates override FORD PROCAL Tune?

Appointment scheduled for 10:00 AM tomorrow for the install. Hopefully no install issues, the shop has installed several already. I am amazed on how many FORD dealers do not want to touch this install. Even if you offer to go the two hours labor, they are not interested.

If I go with the J&L on the driver side, do I need to remove it when bringing it in for dealership service? I understand that even if I went with the FP and installed myself it could void warranty.

I have installed multiple programs on cars in the past…..back they were from SuperChip. They were easy just follow the directions as is this Ford Performance Tune. Found a dealer 2 hours away who would do it with a minimum of 2 hours labor. Only reason I wanted a dealership was the warranty...

Ready to pull the trigger but having issues with finding a dealer to install in my area. Checked with 3 of my nearest dealers. 2 are listed on the FP site and only one said they would do it…..but they only sell Ford Trucks. They do work on cars however.

I will need to check on that. Also have the FP tune I would like to purchase when they finally release them for 2025.

Decided to go with the Borla S-Type quad tip for non-active exhaust. Had it for a few months and am very pleased with the results. Much deeper sound, more volume but not raspy.

Appreciate all your responses. I noticed good reviews with the J&L for the ecoboost. Car has 4,000 miles on it, is it too late and also will adding catch can possible void extended warranty? Again, thank you for your response.

Debating adding oil catch can system on my 2025 Ecoboost. Ford Performance has both passenger and driver side model that I may go with. Question, is it worth the addition/price for a basically daily driver with a few mods? i know this is an old subject but should have pros and cons from past...

Still no updates on the release for the 2025 year models.....other than still in testing phase,

They (FP) keep saying 1st quarter 2026. No updates since and not much left to the 1st quarter.

Any regrets with the FPT? I still have plans on purchasing it when it becomes available for the 2025 models.

Agree with the axle back but they now also only come in extreme. In “quad” tips.

Ok, thanks. I plan on going with the Ford Performance tune when is available for the 2025 models. I have the EcoBoost Premium and only have Eurocompulsion intake tube and AFE drop in filter. Have been considering exhaust quad tips but I also do not want loud exhaust.

. Sounds like a good upgrade in performance. Do you have other mods (CAI, exhaust cat back etc) or stock?
