A dash cam is one of those things you will hopefully never need. But you will be darn glad you have it if something happens.

Got mine installed right before I went on vacation, it's basic functionality wise but I really value the OEM type installation.... Super stealthily.
Liked it enough I ordered one for my wife's Cadillac.

Why? You planning on saving your videos from last year? Lol

64GB is plenty. If you drive it daily it gets you about 2-3 months before it overwrites old content. If something happens and need the video, you are going to download it immediately. Not wait 3 months.

Plus, you can pull the card and save anything to your computer if your worried about losing it.
2-3 months is a stretch. I mentioned before each 5 minute 4k video is 850Mb. I drove my car 7 hours yesterday, more than filling up a 64gb card. You don't NEED a 256gb sd, but for less than $20 I recommend getting one.

One thing I've figured out is super helpful as well is keeping the adapter they supply in the car. Most people have a phone with USB C now so it's faster to hook it to your phone and clip the video than try to download it via BT or put it in your laptop or PC. Only downside of doing it on your phone is it retains 4k resolution and can make it tough to post it anywhere due to it's size. On my PC I clip it at 1080P and the size is much smaller.
