Hey Deano1978
Paid about $550Aud for the Dark Horse style spoiler (Ebay - Jogon). Installation was $600. Took them over 4hrs, but it's done properly 👍
Thanks mate, that's a pretty decent price. I'll look into it.

Can you post more pictures from different angles? I've got a Vapor Blue GT as well and I have been struggling to decide what spoiler to put on it. The stock flat blade spoiler just isn't doing it for me.
The blade spoiler is disappointing! Glenn

What did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking
I got this one on ebay - link here
OEM TAKE OFF Ford Mustang GT COUPE S650 24+ Rear Lid Spoiler VAPOR BLUE

There's a whole thread on the US forums about them, including fitting videos - they are a genuine Ford spoiler and come with the boot lid panel to replace the spoiler delete panel - this makes fitting really easy.

The spoiler was about $360US and shipping was $400US - about $1300AUD total. The service was incredible - 1 week from order to delivery...

Nice looking. Can you feel the extra downforce with that new spoiler?

Thanks! 👍 Actually, feels like it has slightly more downforce now. It felt good driving yesterday on different roads. And sitting in the car, looking at the rear view mirror, the spoiler doesn't block much of the view. I still have a very good vision of what happens behind the car, which is great!

I think I was finally coming around to having a spoilerless naked rear end. :frown:

But what the hell, it's what i originally wanted....

Another local in the BMZ club!

Thanks @PTR GT for starting the topic, and @VB50GT for the details about BMZ.
I was asleep at the wheel about any BMZ spoiler discussion elsewhere here on 7G, which I missed at the time.

Actually, wait...
You two bastards have just cost me $1,229!!!! :giggle: :like:

ps anyone keen on another catchup.
Yes!
It can be our group "stand back and admire our spoilers day".

Actually if you're going to throw names around... @Paul2020 deserves to be included - it was his posts in one of the US threads that cost me $1300...:cwl:

Did you find a better quality one on there Adam?

Mike, I made the assumption that the premium $329 price point applied to all colours, but apparently not. Supply and demand kicks in.

bjessesports in a conversation said:
The white spoilers are $299.95 because I had a lot of this color.
We do not ship anything with major issues.
As I tell everyone they could have a minor scratch / scuff.
I always do my best to pick the best one when shipping.
The white ones show every little mark.
I do not send anything with gouges.
I'm fully prepared to spend the $350 I was quoted by a local panel shop to rub back and respray, but we'll see what we get. May not need it.

We should line our cars up, and send Andrew Birkic a photo of our rears.
The customer gets what the customer wants!

Hahha!!! 😆 Wow!!! I think you will love the car with the spoiler even more and I can't wait to see it installed 🤩🤩 money well spent 😆😆
Definitely keen to have a catch up, just have you spoiler installed first and let's do it 🙂🤟

Sorry for the little thread deviation.. :) My EU DH come up with the lid, I like it and I think I'll not swap it.. but knowing myself, some day I may decide to try something different... so just to know. That lid uses the same kind of fitment (holes and whatever) of any other spoiler (GT / DH...) so it'll be just a matter of installing a new spoiler or it has a different panel?

Love the colour of that car!! 😉🙌
I thought those blade spoilers - like the one you have - are taped on (no bolts). But I can be wrong. The bootlid that came with my spoiler had some decent sized holes (see below pic - upside down with the spoiler).
That means you may need to drill yours, OR need to get one that already has the holes for a spoiler 🤔
