2024 with less than 5K miles. Ran perfect pre-Whipple.

Double checked the install by removing the blower, found one o-ring gasket that was suspect, replaced with Whipple o-rings, otherwise all good.

Then took it to an independent Speed/Performance shop, they found no mechanical issues.

AI says: Yes, there are documented calibration issues, including a major software recall, involving the 2024+ Mustang GT/Dark Horse Whipple Supercharger kits (specifically those sold through Ford Performance) that can trigger diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) such as P219B, among others.
The major software recall was for whipple to build in a mechanism to allow the throttle body to snap closed in the event of a power failure allowing the engine to stop and not continue to accelerate when you have no control.

this has no bearing on your issue. Trust me when I say it’s not a problem with their calibration or it would be a problem with the thousands of other cars running that same ford approved calibration including every FRPP stage 1 kit sold, installed and warrantied by Ford motor company.

The G2 is nearly identical to the air flow rating of Procharger's P1-X.
The CFM ratings are the least important rating when looking at these blowers. It doesn’t mean much. Inducer size and RPM limit are much more important. The P1X is rated to 950 crank HP. Which is very conservative.

G3X (88.2mm inducer) and P1X (90.6mm) are comparable. The D1X and G3R are comparable. G2 is much smaller. Still very capable though.

Robvas,

Great question. Based on the outstanding street performance of my 2018 GT's P1-X, if I go with an EES, then I'll buy the G2 on my 2024.

I currently have a Whipple on my 2024 and have had nothing but trouble. I may be selling a Whipple Stage 1 really cheap if we can't get the Whipple to work right.
Why does everyone tell about jumping up to a G3/G4 then?

Have people made over 1,000whp on a G2?

Mustangs have gone 7's on the P1X
CFM ratings aren’t an accurate way to measure performance. P1X is only rated at 950 crank HP. Very conservative. The G3X and P1X are the closest to each other based on inducer size. G3R and D1X etc.. G2 is still very capable for its size though.
