Appreciate this video man have seen this before. The only reason I waited this long is cos I drove a buddy’s GT 2020 on ESS n loved it and been waiting for new kits. But since the launch it’s been more than 6 months n kits not received or we don’t have any updates or enough data (apart from test car) it’s very disappointing sorry to say. I definitely appreciate they taking time to build us best quality kit but they should also keep in mind people not gonna wait FOREVER.
Kits were officially announced October 16th. Not sure where the 6 month timeline came from. However, I can say that I just got word today that the final parts are headed to powder coat tomorrow.

This should keep you entertained in the meantime.

In really good air, 60-130mph in 4.88 seconds.

and here is a thread where he discusses it (over at the mustang6g forum)

To be clear, that is on a very cold day with negative density and not representative of what the car normally runs, which is up in the 5s.

G2 kits are now live on the website!

You can now place your order for the G2 system directly on the website. These kits are being built and shipped.

G3 and G3X are just a couple days away and they will also be live on the site. If anyone has any questions on ordering a kit feel free to PM me.

What is the difference between G2 and G3?

Google says:

The primary difference between the ESS G2 and G3 supercharger kits lies in capacity and power potential, with the G3 flowing 1600 CFM (up to ~950WHP) compared to the G2's 1300 CFM (575-800WHP). The G3 kit features a larger impeller, volute, and intercooler, making it better for high-power, built-engine applications, while both share similar bracketry and upgradeability.

The G2 is nearly identical to the air flow rating of Procharger's P1-X.
Why does everyone tell about jumping up to a G3/G4 then?

Have people made over 1,000whp on a G2?

Mustangs have gone 7's on the P1X

Robvas,

Great question. Based on the outstanding street performance of my 2018 GT's P1-X, if I go with an EES, then I'll buy the G2 on my 2024.

I currently have a Whipple on my 2024 and have had nothing but trouble. I may be selling a Whipple Stage 1 really cheap if we can't get the Whipple to work right.

I think if you want equal capability compared to the P1X you will want the G3R not the Gen 2. But you can make what the Whipple stage 1 makes with the G2

What trouble? Tuning? We can tune them now and there is a lot of improvement that can be made on the whipple tune. We don’t have to adhere to fords standards like they do.

Yeah, interested in what the issues are. I have not heard of folks having nothing but trouble yet.

It's a long story and I don't want to bore folks with my Whipple issues. All I will say is if you have any issues, Whipple will categorically blame the install and basically look the other way.

Do an AI search for: Whipple stage 1 issues on Gen 7 mustangs

This is only a partial list of issues. A deeper AI search will reveal potential fuel mapping issues, in some cases, with the supplied Whipple tune, resulting in a persistent DTC P219B.

No that’s not the case at all. You likely have a bad drivers side wideband o2. I’ve seen several whipple tunes for these and tuned several and there are no fueling issues with their tunes. The widebands independently measure on either side. You likely do have a mechanical issue or that bad wideband. Might have a bad injector or plug maybe.

2024 with less than 5K miles. Ran perfect pre-Whipple.

Double checked the install by removing the blower, found one o-ring gasket that was suspect, replaced with Whipple o-rings, otherwise all good.

Then took it to an independent Speed/Performance shop, they found no mechanical issues.

AI says: Yes, there are documented calibration issues, including a major software recall, involving the 2024+ Mustang GT/Dark Horse Whipple Supercharger kits (specifically those sold through Ford Performance) that can trigger diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) such as P219B, among others.

I'm going to find the issue by eliminating one variable at a time.
