Emergency brake light, how do you do that?

In the owners manual it mentions this couple times that “some“ mustangs come wits a extra active logic where if you slam on the breaks very hard and come to a stop it will turn on hazard lights, on your behalf i feel like this would make my commute safer and I was wondering where would i enable this feature, it seems to be somewhere in bcm.

I believe that is part of a NHTSA mandate. It dates back to an accident where a driver laid for nearly a week before someone noticed her and her car which has rolled down an embankment. She survived incidentally. I find it difficult to imagine the system turning on (flashing lights, horn beeps, etc.) by just slamming on the brakes.

I've heard of this. I think it's called emergency stop signal. I don't know if Ford implements this across their vehicles. If present, it automatically activates flashing brake lights or hazards temporarily after an ABS braking event. It shuts off when the car starts moving again. Easiest way to find out if it comes on your car would be to chat with Ford.

It's mandated I think, in new Euros. Hazards flash on heavy braking. You'll see it on 'Ring vids.
I noticed on my first visit to Italy that many drivers did it manually.
