I’m in South Florida and deals are hard to come by down here. Ended up working with Jason and Gavin at Ourisman Manassas and got a great deal. Drive was 15 hours up and 15 back with a few more to stop and visit family. Did it over a weekend. (Sunflower seeds for the win!) Love the car and got decent mileage on the drive back (25.8mpg). Right at 400 miles to a tank.

Guys at Ourisman were great and had me on my way in no time. One of the best car buying experiences of my life.

First few mods are done. UPR catch can, Weathertech floor liners, and DIYvan wheel well liner fix.

Sometimes that’s what it takes. I bought my F150 at the tail end of covid when inventory was thin and order banks were closed for a few months. Wanted a Lariat, white or silver, max tow package + mirrors, no moonroof or tailgate step, and 6.5 ft bed...not an easy find. I flew from Detroit to Salt Lake City, dealer drove me 2 hours+ to Idaho and I drove 1800 miles home. Came to appreciate Blue Cruise (which I never would have ordered).

I found my 2021 F150 Platinum right before COVID. It was the last Platinum they had any of their four dealerships right before s*** hit the fan. It was exactly what I wanted.

It was at my normal Ford dealer right in town.

Not to mention I got 1.89% APR on what I did finance. 😁

I had a 2020 Lariat that I owned 2 years and put 16,000 miles on in that time (May 2020 to April 2022). Somebody offered me within a few grand of what I paid for it new, including tax...and I took it. I hadn't been on the forums and wasn't aware of how tight the supply was.. Ford had closed 2022 orders and didn't plan to open 2023 books until July...with lead times up to 8 months. I just kept searching nationwide until an abandoned special order 2022 popped up. I guess the guy got tired of waiting. The truck had sat at the factory 4 months waiting for missing parts.

Mine was another customer's order that the initial salesperson failed to attach the customer's name to. My salesman said, "As soon as I got your name on it, it was ours." True story.

I purchased my 2020 F150 4 x 4 Rapid Red F150 Limited during Covid.
List price is over 74,000. I got it for 62,000 minus my trade in. A 2015 Ruby Red 4x4 Platinum.
The best part, Zero interest at my local Ford dealer.

Congrats! Im in South Florida and I see plenty of Mustangs GTs discounted $3k-$5k across multiple dealers. What kind of deal did you get on your car that drove you north that you could not get here? I ask since I currently have one on order here in South Florida.

Best I found down here was 10% off list with $1,400 in dealer fees. Also only a handful of cars on the lot so color choice not an option. Got 15% off at Ourisman and they had a ton of inventory allowing me to get the color I wanted. New orders I can't say as I was buying off the lot.

Really? I just looked. they have 69 Mustang GT's listed in inventory. Unfortunately, the website shows discounts only around 10% but I'm sure you can negotiate. Are you looking at Ourisman Ford in Manassas, VA?
