Did you get a discount on your S650?

When I ordered my S650, I built it out to about 47k MSRP. I only waited about 2 months from order to pickup, which is pretty good. I do have a simple build though. Once my car landed, and it was time to pick up I asked for them to discount it. They have me 4k off, and I ended up paying 42k in the end. I think that is a great deal, as I was able to see my invoice for my car. It is 42k.

Wondering if anyone here got a big discount with their order or purchase?

I placed an order at MSRP. No discount. We'll see what happens at delivery.

I'm going to try that when I get close to closing. I found out about X-Plan shortly AFTER I placed the order. If the X-Plan needs to be disclosed at the time of the order, I'm toast.

1. Costco has discounts for cars. I went to the website https://www.costcoauto.com/enterzipcode.aspx?gotourl=/ and found a dealer, got their quote with all the fees electronically.
2. took the quote to another dealer, asked them if they'd beat it. they did.
3. took the quote to a third dealer, who happened to have the car I'm currently driving in stock.

take their quote and see if you can browbeat your local dealer into beating it.

no.

X-plan only makes sense if there are no sub-Invoice prices being offered or the discounts such as they are are negated by crazy 'doc' fees. The only things you can 'stack' with X are official Ford discounts, like 1st Responder, etc or customer cash.

I placed the order at MSRP but I didn't care, the owner of the dealership is a friend of mine and we have bought over a dozen cars from them so they always take care of us. I'm sure it will be taken care of once the car gets here.

Do not pay MSRP, even here in S. Cali I can get $3k off with very little effort.
