After waiting 5 months for my order I finally picked my GT PP today. I absolutely love it but a few things that would've made it even more amazing.

1) no power seat for the back portion. I already knew this and probably won't be a big deal since I probably won't be adjusting the seat now that it's set to a perfect spot, but have to point it out since it makes zero sense in my brain. I can go forward, back, up and down, but i have to manually tilt the back. Why?

2) where is my phone hang up button on the steering wheel? Unless I don't know what im doing I can't find a way to hang up through the steering wheel, I have to click the screen.

3) my screen froze on my second drive. The touch screen wasn't working at all. I had to turn off the car and back on so it would work again. Any hints for this? What if I'm on a long drive and I can't stop to turn the car of and on? Is there a way to reset the screen while driving?

4) this is my biggest issue. Where is my front bumper sensor? I knew this in advance and I know I can add an after market one, but why not put one in, especially when there's already a sensor for active cruise control and emergency braking?

I know I'm ranting but dont get me wrong. I'm absolutely in love with this thing. 😍

3) someone mentioned there is a way to restart the screen when it's frozen even if the car isnon and you're driving but haven't figured it out.

4) yes, every new car nowadays has a front parking sensor.

Adding a few more things

5) turn signal and windshield wiper handles seem really cheap. My 2018 Durango has more of a solid build!

I absolutely love the car but I'm just pointing out stuff that's annoying me. I'll be making another post about all the stuff I love about it as well.

1. As you stated you probably won't be adjusting it. Mine is set and I will probably never move it. I am happy to not have one more electronic/electric gadget that will someday break.

2. Never thought of this because I just hit the "button" on the screen.

3. From the Owner's Manual:
REBOOTING THE CENTER DISPLAY
You can reboot the center display using the controls on the steering wheel.
1. Simultaneously press and hold the seek forward and audio system power button for 10 seconds.

4. Never thought of this. The radar sensor is behind the lower grille. It could probably act as a sensor for parking, if that is what you are interested in. (I have no idea how you would do that.)

Unfortunately, yup. I guess it ok for me cause I'm not going to allow my wife or anyone else drive it 🤣.....for now.

Congrats on your new GT. Enjoy it.!

Just FYI, #’s 1 & 4 have been a bone of contention since 2015. No real explanations.. It just is what it is. 👍

Edit: For #2…..

I don't have that on my steering wheel. I can't find that in the 2024 Owner's Manual.

To restart/reboot the right screen; On the steering wheel, press and hold the seek-right and volume-down buttons for about 5 seconds (or until the screen turns off). I have to do this every now and then if either my phone doesn't connect or the music doesn't play through the car properly. So far, it works every time to correct the issue.
