That looks really good. Definitely dials up the sportiness a little. I actually like the blade spoiler but this is a good look.

Anyone else purchase this spoiler? I have the magenta and was thinking of ordering it in the shadow black color code. Just having a hard time pulling the trigger and getting ordered with correct color. Unsure if should go with same color as car but thinking some color variation may be nice.

Yep, line it up first and mark it with painters tape. Having two people help...

OOOHHHHHH, you mean the car spoiler! Looks good!

I thought you were showing off those bar end tassels on your little girl's bike with the extra cool white tires. If you get a spoiler, she should at least get a rear slick and a little spoiler.

I did not order it with the blade. Youtube is your friend on that removal.

Removing the stock spoiler is a BITCH. It’s held on with bolts and 3M tape and you have to get all the 3M tape off the trunk before putting the new spoiler on.

I didn’t have fishing line so I used weed trimmer line. Even though I taped off the trunk I still burned through the paint in two small spots. How I did that I have no idea. Then instead of using a heat gun to weaken the 3M tape I sawed with the line as well as lifting up. Well I lifted up a bit too hard and heard a loud POP. didn’t know what it was until later.

The rear module that bolts on to the trunk has a long line of 3M tape at the forward lip that holds it flush to the trunk. I broke that 3M tape hold. So now the module sits high off the trunk on one side. 🤬

After trying several things I eventually got some fresh 3M tape in between and locked it down but it still sits just a bit high off the trunk. I filled the 2 spots with paint and it passes the 5 foot test. But damn…to eff up a brand new car just adding a spoiler.

Between putting on the louvers, splitter, spoiler, and rear black panel…all was just tape and silicone. I was a nervous wreck by the end. Just big pieces you only have one shot at Mounting correctly.

Thats why I went for the delete option so I could put my own on without issues. Glad you were able to get it finished to your liking though.

Wow thanks for sharing all that. Considering my car is black I'll probably stick with the factory blade spoiler since black-on-black limits the visibility of all the curves anyway. Probably not worth the risk in my case.

That sounds like a nightmare. I am definitely not doing it myself! Glenn
