IF I used my heat gun, the stock spoiler would have come off so much easier. But I rushed it. Even so, it wouldn’t have been such a mess if I had known the panel underneath the spoiler was also held on with 3M tape at it’s edge.

I was going to take off the whole rear module and start over with a full line of fresh tape, but I had already put the black out panel on which bonds both parts together. So I quit while I was behind.

Wow thanks for sharing all that. Considering my car is black I'll probably stick with the factory blade spoiler since black-on-black limits the visibility of all the curves anyway. Probably not worth the risk in my case.
Agree. After reading that I'm sticking with the blade on my black vert.
