Mine starts loud even from the start button. Then about 15 seconds later it quiets down. Is this normal?

Mine does the same. Starts in quiet mode, but the RPMs are held higher for the first 15 or 20 seconds which makes is seem louder. It's an EPA thing apparently. Helps it get up to optimal conditions quicker.

I have a 2024 Mustang GT premium convertible with active exhaust. My neighbors complained that in the early morning I was disturbing them. I couldn't get quiet mode to work. I get it I am technology behind the times. My dealer has a person whose only job is to help with technology issues. He set it up for me and it works fine now. Happy.
